النسخة الإنجليزية للرواية الإبداعية لكاتبها الأستاذ مخلد بركات، ترجمة الأستاذ حرب محمد شاهين، الرواية تقع في 274صفحة، بطباعة فاخرة.
مما يجدر ذكره، أن هذه الرواية تُعد عملاً مميزاً في الأدب العربي، حيث تصور بشكل دقيق وجريء جملة من الأحداث السياسية والاجتماعية والنفسية، التي يعيشها الوطن العربي ومواطنوه.
الرواية تعكس حقيقة الصراع الدائر بين المواطن العربي وبين أعدائه الذين يحشدون كل ما يملكون من قوة وخطط علنية منها وسرية للاستبداد بوطننا، والسيطرة عليه واستغلال موارده وخيراته، وشعارهم فليذهب المواطن العربي إلى الجحيم.
تتناول الرواية مراحل شتى مرّ بها عدد من الأقطار العربية، في فترات زمنية متلاحقة، وما رافق ذلك من حروب شرسة ولجوء وتهجير لأعداد كبيرة من العرب من وطنهم.
أبرز الكاتب البيئة العربية بكل مفرداتها، الصحراوية والحضرية والريفية، فجمعت الرواية تجمع بين طياتها ظروف كل مواطن حسب الواقع الذي يعيشه، والواجبات والتضحيات التي ترتبت عليه، ومنهم من دفع حياته ثمناً للواجب الملقى على عاتقه.
لجأ الكاتب للأسلوب المعبر عن أفكاره بوضوح وسلس وجذّاب، بعيداً عن التعقيد اللفظي والمعنوي، فاستخدم الألفاظ السهلة المألوفة بصور بيانية ولوحات فنية رائع، تجعل القارئ يعيش الأحداث وكأنه واقع حقيقي يعيشه.

The English version of the creative novel which is written by Professor Muklid Barakat, translated by Professor Harb Muhammad Shaheen.
The novel is 274 pages, in fine print. This novel is a distinguished work in the Arabic literature, as it accurately and boldly depicts a number of political, social and psychological events that the Arab world and its citizens live in.
The novel reflects the reality of the conflict between the Arab citizen and his enemies who mobilize all their power and overt and secret plans to tyranny our country, to control it and to exploit its resources and goods, and their slogan, so the Arab citizens go to hell.
The novel deals with various stages, which a number of Arab countries went through, in successive periods of time, and the fierce wars, which were accompanied by the displacement of large numbers of Arabs from their homeland. The writer highlighted the Arab environment in all its vocabulary, desert, urban and rural, so the novel combines the circumstances of each citizen according to the reality in which he lives, and the duties and sacrifices which are entailed by him, and some of them paid his life for the duty entrusted to him. The writer resorted to the style expressing his ideas clearly, smoothly and attractively, away from the verbal and moral complexity, so he used easy and familiar words with graphic images and wonderful artistic paintings, which make the reader live events as if it were a real reality in which he lives.
