تنطلق غداً الدورة 17 من مهرجان ليوا للرطب، والذي يقام في مدينة ليوا بمنطقة الظفرة في إمارة أبوظبي، بتنظيم لجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي، خلال الفترة من 15 ولغاية 25 يوليو الجاري.
و تقتصرفعاليات مهرجان ليوا للرطب بدورته 17 على مسابقات الرطب والفواكه والمزرعة النموذجية وأجمل مخرافة، وبدون زوار حرصاً على السلامة العامة وسلامة المشاركين والعاملين في ظل الظروف الاستثنائية بسبب فيروس كورونا المستجد “كوفيد- 19”.
واكد معالي اللواء فارس خلف المزروعي، قائد عام شرطة أبوظبي رئيس لجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي، إن المهرجان يجسد رؤية الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان “طيب الله ثراه”، مؤسس النهضة الزراعية في دولة الإمارات الذي ارسى القواعد توسع القطاع الزراعي وتنميته، إلى جانب تمسكه بالمكانة التاريخية لشجرة النخيل مكانة التي مجدتها الكتب السماوية واستحقت مكانتها الشامخة في التراث الوطني والعالمي إذ تعد رمزا وطنيا وتراثيا على امتداد تاريخ دولة الإمارات ومصدرا رئيسيا لتعزيز الأمن الغذائي وقد عززت مكانتها القيادة الرشيدة بين أبناء الإمارات عبر إنشاء بنية تحتية زراعية مستدامة ساهمت في ترسيخ عوامل ارتباط الإنسان بالأرض.
وتقدم معاليه بالشكر والتقدير إلى صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله، الذي يولي قطاع الزراعة أولوية خاصة، والدعم اللامحدود الذي يقدمه صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان ولي عهد أبوظبي نائب القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة، لكافة المهرجانات والفعاليات التراثية، والمتابعة الحثيثة لسمو الشيخ حمدان بن زايد آل نهيان ممثل الحاكم في منطقة الظفرة، ورعاية سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة، للمهرجان والتي امتدت على مدار السنوات الماضية لدعم وتمكن المزارعين في تطوير مشاركاتهم .

المهرجان يحظى برعاية ودعم 15 جهة حكومية وخاصة
و قال عيسى سيف المزروعي، نائب رئيس لجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي، إن مهرجان ليوا للرطب بدورته 17 يحظى برعاية ودعم 15 جهة حكومية وخاصة من المؤسسات الوطنية الداعمة لمشاريع صون التراث الإماراتي، وسيشهد المهرجان تنظيم 22 مسابقة، منها 11 مسابقة لمزاينة للرطب أمام المزارعيين في مختلف إمارات الدولة ، 7 مسابقات للفواكه مفتوحة أمام مزارعي الدولة والمهتمين بالزراعة في حديقة المنزل، 3 مسابقات للمزرعة النموذجية (محاضر ليوا الشرقية والغربية ومدن الظفرة)، ومسابقة أجمل مخرافة التي تستهدف المبدعين وأصحاب الحرف التقليدية.
وأشار عيسى سيف المزروعي، إلى أن اللجنة المنظمة قامت بتوزيع كتيب إلكتروني على ملاك المزارع والمشاركين ونشرته عبر منصات “تراثنا” التابعة للجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي على (تويتر، انستغرام، فيسبوك، سناب شات)، ويتضمن الكتيب جميع الشروط الاحترازية والوقائية، ومواعيد المزاينات والأصناف وشروط الاشتراك، وآلية ومواعيد التسجيل وتسليم المشاركات الخاصة بكل فئة، بالإضافة إلى جداول الجداول الخاصة بكل فئة وقيمتها، وآليات الفرز والتحكيم وإعلان النتائج.
جدول زمني وإجراءات احترازية ووقائية
من جانبه، أكد عبيد خلفان المزروعي، مدير المهرجان مدير إدارة المشاريع والتخطيط في اللجنة، أن المهرجان سيقام على فترتين (من 15 إلى 18 يوليو، ومن 22 إلى 25 يوليو الجاري) وستخلله فترة إجازة عيد الأضحى المبارك، مضيفاً أن استلام مشاركات المسابقات سيكون حسب اليوم المقرر ضمن الجدول المعلن عنه سابقاً، من الساعة 8 صباحاً ولغاية 3 مساءً، فيما تبدأ عملية التحكيم بعد ذلك مباشرة وسوف يتم الإعلان عن النتاج في اليوم الثاني بشكل مباشر عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي الخاصة بلجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي ومن خلال وسائل الإعلام المختلفة.
وأشار مدير المهرجان إلى اللجنة المنظمة للمهرجان ستقومبتطبيق كافة التدابير الوقائية والإجراءات الاحترازية على المشاركين واللجان المشرفة بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة والمعنية بإمارة أبوظبي، مضيفاً أنه يتوجب على المشاركين ابراز شهادة تطعيم كوفيد – 19 مع إبراز نتيجة سلبية عبر تطبيق الحصن بمدة لا تتجاوز 48 ساعة، وسيتم استلام المشاركات وفق مسار خاص للسيارات يمر بعدة مراحل، ويتم التواصل بين المشارك والعاملين عبر مكبرات الصوت وبوجود عازل زجاجي.
وأوضح المزروعي أن اليوم الأول من المسابقة سيشهدمزاينة رطب الدباس والتي خصص لها 25 جائزة بقيمة 446 ألف درهم، ومسابقة أكبر عذج والتي خصص لها 15 جائزة بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 234 ألف درهم، كما تنطلق خلال اليوم الأول مسابقة المزرعة النموذجية ضمن فئاتها الثلاث (لمدن الظفرة) والتي سيتم إعلان نتائجها أخر يوم بالمهرجان بتاريخ 25 يوليو الجاري، وتقدم 15 جائزة (بواقع 5 جوائز لكل فئة) بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ مليونين و25 ألف درهم.
فيما سيشهد اليوم الثاني مسابقات المانجو المحلي (10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم)، والمانجو المنوع (10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم)، وفي اليوم الثالث مزاينة رطب الشيشي وخصص لها 15 جائزة بقيمة 397 ألف درهم.واليمون المحلي (10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم)، والليمون المنوع (10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم)، وفي اليوم الرابع مسابقات سلة فواكه الدار ( 3 جوائز بقيمة 400 ألف درهم)، والتين الأحمر (10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم)، والتين الأصفر وخصص لها 10 جوائز بقيمة 117 ألف درهم).
وسيشهد اليوم الخامس إقامة مزاينة رطب الخنيزيوخصص لها 15 جائزة بقيمة 397 ألف درهم، مزاينة رطب بومعان (15 جائزة بقيمة 397 ألف درهم)، مسابقة أجمل مخرافة رطب (10 جوائز بقيمة 54 ألف و500 درهم)، وفي اليوم السادس مزاينات رطب الخلاص (شوط مفتوح) وخصص لها 25 جائزة بقيمة 446 ألف درهم، رطب الخلاص المخصصة لمزارع منطقة العين (25 جائزة بقيمة 446 ألف درهم)، رطب الفرض (شوط مفتوح) وخصص لها 15 جائزة بقيمة 397 ألف درهم، رطب الفرض المخصصة لمزارع منطقة العين (15 جائزة بقيمة 397 ألف درهم).
وستقام في اليوم السابع مسابقة ليوا لنخبة الرطب، والتي خصص لها 15 جائزة بقيمة 540 ألف درهم، ويشترط للمشاركة بها تقديم ما لا يقل 15 نوع مختلف من الرطب ووزن كل صنف لا يقل عن 3 كيلوغرام، أما اليوم الثامنوالأخير في المهرجان بتاريخ 25 يوليو الجاري، فسيشهد مسابقة الظفرة لنخبة الرطب والتي خصص 15 جائزة بقيمة 725 ألف درهم، ويشترط للمشاركة بها تقديم ما لا يقل 20 نوع مختلف من الرطب ووزن كل صنف لا يقل عن 3 كيلوغرام.

نبذة عن لجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي
تأسست كلجنة حكومية دائمة معنية بتنظيم المهرجانات والأنشطة التراثية وإنتاج البرامج الثقافية بقرار صادر عن الأمانة العامة للمجلس التنفيذي لإمارة أبوظبي 2013.

وتدير اللجنة العديد من المهرجانات والبرامج التراثية والثقافية التي تلعب دوراً بارزاً في صون الموروث الثقافي، منها: برنامج “شاعر المليون”، برنامج “أمير الشعراء”، برنامج “المنكوس”، برنامج “الشارة “، برنامج “المغاني”، مهرجان ليوا للرطب، مهرجان الظفرة، مهرجان الظفرة البحري، مهرجان سباق دلما، مزاد ليوا للرطب، أكاديمية الشعر، قناة بينونة التلفزيونية، مجلة شاعر المليون، مجلة شواطئ، فرقة أبوظبي للفنون الشعبية ومحمية المرزوم.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the 17th Edition of the Liwa Date Festival kicks-off tomorrow. The festival, organized by the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, will be held in Liwa city in Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, from 15 to 25 July 2021.
The activities of the 17th Edition of the Liwa Date Festival will be limited to date and fruit competitions, and the model farm and the most beautiful handicraft. Due to the exceptional circumstances caused by COVID-19, and in the interest of public safety and the safety of participants and workers, visitors will not be allowed to attend the festival.
His Excellency Major General Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, stressed that the festival embodies the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the agricultural renaissance in the UAE, and the one who laid down the foundations for the expansion and development of the agricultural sector. Sheikh Zayed also greatly valued the historical status of the palm tree; this tree that was glorified by the Holy Books, and is rightly deserving its esteemed status in the local and international world heritage arenas. Throughout the history of the UAE, the palm tree remained a national and heritage symbol and a major source for food security. The wise leadership further embedded the status of the palm tree amongst the people of the UAE through the creation of a strong and sustainable agricultural infrastructure, which also contributed to strengthening human connectedness with the earth.
His Excellency went on to extend his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, who has prioritized the agricultural sector; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his limitless support of all festivals and heritage events; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra region, for his constant follow-up on the festival; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, for his patronage of the festival over many years, and his continued support to enable farmers to enhance their participation in these festivals.
His Excellency also valued the great attention of the festival’s partners in success; the national institutions and companies led by the Ruler’s Representative Court – Al Dhafra region; Abu Dhabi National Oil Company – ADNOC, the festival’s strategic partner; Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center- Tadweer; Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, sponsor of community outreach; and festival supporters: Department of Municipalities and Transport – Al Dhafra Region Municipality, Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company – SEHA, Al Dhafra Hospitals, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company – ADDC, SecureTech, Al Foah Company, General Women’s Union – Abu Dhabi, Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts; and media partner, Baynouah TV.
The Festival Receives Sponsorship and Support from 15 Government and Private Entities
In his turn, Eissa Saif Al Mazrouei, Deputy Chairman, Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, commented that the 17th Edition of the Liwa Date Festival received the sponsorship and support from 15 government and private entities, particularly national institutions which support projects that preserve UAE heritage. The festival will include 22 competitions; 11 Ratab Mazayna with participation from farmers in the various emirates of the country, 7 fruit competitions which are open to state farmers and those interested in home and garden farming, 3 competitions for the model farm (eastern and western Liwa and the cities of Al Dhafra), and the most beautiful handicraft competition targeting creators and owners of traditional crafts.
Eissa Saif Al Mazrouei mentioned that the organizing committee distributed an electronic brochure to farm owners and participants. This was also posted on Turathuna platforms belonging to Abu Dhabi Cultural and Heritage Programs and Festivals Organizing Committee (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat). The brochure contains all the necessary precautionary and preventive measures, in addition to competition dates and times, competition categories, terms of participation, registration and entry submission mechanisms and dates for each category, category details and values, and the processes related to sorting, arbitration, and result announcements.
Timetable and Precautionary Measures
For his part, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of Events and Communication Department at the Committee, said that the festival will be held over two separate periods; 15 to 18 July and 22 to 25 July 2021, inclusive of the Eid Al-Adha holiday. He added that receipt of submissions will be done according to the designated days per the announced schedule, from 8am to 3pm. The judging process will begin immediately after that, and the results will be on the second day announced directly through the social media platforms of the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, and on various media.
The festival director also mentioned that the festival’s organizing committee will be applying all preventive and precautionary measures, to which all participants and supervisory committees will need to comply, and this will be done in coordination with the competent and concerned authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He added that participants will have to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and negative COVID-19 test results through ALHOSN App no more than 48 hours ahead. Submissions will be received via a special vehicle path that will pass through several stages, and communication between participants and festival members will be done by loudspeakers and through a glass insulator.
Al Mazrouei explained that the first day of the competition will witness the Ratab Al-Dabbas Mazayna, for which 25 prizes worth 446 thousand dirhams were allocated, and the competition for the largest A’adj, for which 15 prizes were allocated at a total value of 234 thousand dirhams. All results will be announced on the 25th of July, the last day of the festival, at which time 15 prizes will be awarded (five for each category) worth a total of 2,025 thousand dirhams.
