الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات تستعد لإطلاق برومين ماراثون عمان
المرفأ…(عمّان – أيلول 2024): تعلن الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات Run Jordan عن استعداداتها لإطلاق النسخة الرابعة عشر من برومين ماراثون عمان، الذي سيُقام تحت رعاية سمو الامير فراس بن رعد حيث يحمل شعار “اركض في قلب عمّان”، يوم الجمعة الموافق 4 تشرين الأول 2024.
حيث يعتبر برومين ماراثون عمان هو أكثر من مجرد سباق؛ إنه احتفال بروح عمّان وشوارعها، وجسر يربط بين الرياضة والصحة والمجتمع. يجمع هذا الحدث الرياضي البارز بين العدائين من مختلف أنحاء العالم، ليؤكد التزام الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات أركض للاردن برفع الوعي بأهمية الرياضة كنمط حياة صحي، وتكريس عمّان كوجهة رياضية وسياحية متميزة، عامل أساسي في ريادة الأردن ووضعه على خارطة العالم الرياضية كوجهة رئيسية للسياحة الرياضية ونقطة جاذبة للرياضيين في العالم.
أشارت الآنسة لينا الكرد، المدير العام للجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات أركض للاردن، إلى أن برومين ماراثون عمان هو فرصة لتمكين المجتمع من خلال الرياضة، والتأكيد على دور الرياضة في تعزيز القيم الإنسانية. وأضافت الكرد: ‘نفتخر بتخصيص 20% من اشتراكات الماراثون لدعم أهالنا في غزة ، بالتعاون مع الهيئة الخيرية الهاشمية، تأكيداً على التزامنا بالمسؤولية الاجتماعية ودعم القضايا الإنسانية’.
كما أثنت الكرد على الجهود المشتركة والمبذولة من قبل أمانة عمان الكبرى والجهات الأمنية وكافة الجهات المعنية في دعم وتنظيم وإدارة هذا الحدث بما يليق بوطننا الحبيب، معززين الصورة المشرفة أمام العالم وتشريفنا بتنظيم هكذا حدث عالمي وهام وتحقيق نجاح الماراثون على كافة المستويات.
وفي سياق آخر، وجهت الكرد الشكر إلى “برومين الأردن” على دعمهم السخي لهذا الحدث. وأضافت: “نحن في الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات نفخر بشراكتنا مع برومين الأردن والتي ستستمر الى 3 سنوات، والتي ستسهم في إنجاح برومين ماراثون عمان ووضع الأردن على خارطة العالم الرياضية. من خلال هذا الدعم، نسعى إلى تعزيز مكانة عمّان كوجهة رياضية وسياحية، وجذب العدائين من مختلف أقطار العالم للمشاركة في هذا الحدث الفريد.”
ومن الجدير ذكره أن برومين ماراثون عمّان ينطلق من إشارات الساحة الهاشمية ويشمل أربع سباقات رئيسية: سباق الماراثون 42.195 كم (ماراثون فردي)، سباق الماراثون تتابع 42.195 كم ، وسباق 21 كم (نصف ماراثون فردي وذوي احتياجات خاصة) وسباق ال 10كم (فردي وذوي احتياجات خاصة). أما سباق الأطفال فسيقام يوم الجمعة 27 أيلول في حدائق الحسين في ملعب كرة القدم (11)، ويشمل الفئات العمرية من 6 أعوام إلى 14 عاماً.
Run Jordan Gears Up for the Launch of Bromine Amman Marathon
(Amman – September 2024): Run Jordan, is proud to announce its preparations for the 14th edition of the Bromine Amman Marathon, scheduled to take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, under the Patronage of HRH Prince Firas Bin Raad with the slogan of “Run Through the Heart of Amman” .
The Bromine Amman Marathon is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of the spirit of Amman and its streets, serving as a bridge between sports, health, and community. This prominent sporting event brings together runners from across the globe, reaffirming Run Jordan’s commitment to promoting sports as a healthy lifestyle and establishing Amman as a premier sports and tourism destination. This event is pivotal in elevating Jordan’s standing on the global sports map, making it a key destination for sports tourism and a magnet for athletes worldwide.
Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, emphasized that the Bromine Amman Marathon is an opportunity to empower the community through sports and reinforce the role of sports in promoting human values. She added, “We are proud to allocate 20% of marathon registration fees to support the affected families in Gaza, in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, as a testament to our commitment to social responsibility and support for humanitarian causes.”
Kurd also praised the joint efforts and contributions of the Greater Amman Municipality, public security departement, and all concerned parties in supporting, organizing, and managing this event in a manner befitting our beloved country. These collective efforts enhance Jordan’s image on the global stage and contribute to the marathon’s success on all levels.
In a separate context, Kabbah expressed her gratitude to “Bromine Jordan” for their generous support of this event. She added, “At Run Jordan, we take pride in our partnership with Bromine Jordan, which will continue for three years, contributing to the success of the Bromine Amman Marathon and positioning Jordan on the global sports map. Through this support, we aim to enhance Amman’s status as a sports and tourism destination and attract runners from around the world to participate in this unique event.”
The Bromine Amman Marathon will start from the Hashemite Plaza traffic lights and will feature four main races: the Marathon 42.195 km (individual & Relay), the half marathon 21 km (individual and for people with special needs), and the 10 km race (individual and for people with special needs). The children’s race will take place on Friday, September 27, at King Al Hussein Park, covering age groups from 6 to 14 years old.
