الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات تفتح باب التسجيل للمشاركة في النسخة الأولى من سباق فسيفساء مادبا 2026
المرفأ الاخبارية – عمان، الأردن (يوليو 2026) – أعلنت الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات (Run Jordan) عن فتح باب التسجيل للمشاركة في النسخة الأولى من سباق فسيفساء مادبا 2026، الذي سيقام يوم الجمعة الموافق 31 تموز 2026، تحت رعاية سمو الأمير فراس بن رعد، رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات، وبالتعاون مع بلدية مادبا وبدعم من أمانة عمان الكبرى والاتحاد الأردني لألعاب القوى.
ويأتي إطلاق السباق في إطار رؤية الجمعية الرامية إلى تعزيز السياحة الرياضية، وإبراز الإرث التاريخي والثقافي الذي تتميز به مدينة مادبا، من خلال تنظيم حدث رياضي يتيح للمشاركين فرصة الجري بين أبرز معالمها التاريخية والدينية في تجربة تجمع بين الرياضة والسياحة والثقافة.
ويتضمن السباق مسافتين هما 10 كم و5 كم، حيث ينطلق سباق 10 كم من موقع جبل نيبو، فيما يبدأ سباق 5 كم من منطقة الفيصلية، على أن يختتم السباقان في مركز زوار مادبا، ضمن مسارات صُممت لتمنح العدائين تجربة رياضية استثنائية في مدينة تُعد من أبرز الوجهات السياحية في الأردن.
ودعت الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات العدائين والعداءات من داخل الأردن وخارجه إلى المبادرة بالتسجيل والمشاركة في النسخة الافتتاحية من السباق، مؤكدة أن الحدث يستقبل مختلف الفئات والمستويات الرياضية، سواء العدائين المحترفين أو الهواة.
ومن جانبها، أكدت الآنسة لينا الكرد، المدير العام للجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات، أن إطلاق النسخة الأولى من سباق فسيفساء مادبا يمثل خطوة جديدة في مسيرة الجمعية نحو تقديم فعاليات رياضية نوعية تسهم في التعريف بالمدن الأردنية وتعزيز مكانتها على خارطة السياحة الرياضية.
وأضافت الكرد أن السباق لا يقتصر على كونه منافسة رياضية، بل يقدم تجربة متكاملة تجمع بين النشاط البدني واكتشاف التاريخ والثقافة، مشيرة إلى أن الجمعية تتطلع إلى استقبال مشاركين من مختلف الأعمار والجنسيات لخوض هذه التجربة الفريدة.

Run Jordan Opens Registration for the Inaugural Madaba Mosaic Race 2026
Amman, Jordan (July 2026) – Run Jordan has officially opened registration for the inaugural Madaba Mosaic Race 2026, scheduled to take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Firas bin Raad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Run Jordan. The race is organized in cooperation with the Greater Madaba Municipality and supported by the Greater Amman Municipality and the Jordan Athletics Federation.
The launch of the race reflects Run Jordan’s vision of promoting sports tourism while showcasing the rich historical and cultural heritage of Madaba through a unique sporting event that allows participants to run through some of the city’s most iconic historical and religious landmarks.
The event will feature two race distances: 10 km and 5 km. The 10 km race will start from Mount Nebo, while the 5 km race will begin in the Al Faisaliah area, with both routes finishing at the Madaba Visitor Center. The carefully designed courses offer participants a one-of-a-kind experience that combines sport with the discovery of Madaba’s remarkable history and cultural heritage.
Run Jordan invited runners from Jordan and abroad to register and take part in the inaugural edition of the race, emphasizing that the event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, from professional athletes to recreational runners.
Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, stated that the inaugural Madaba Mosaic Race marks another milestone in the association’s efforts to introduce distinctive sporting events that highlight Jordan’s cities and strengthen their position as sports tourism destinations.
El Kurd added that the race is more than a sporting competition; it is a unique experience that blends physical activity with history and culture, expressing her enthusiasm for welcoming participants from different nationalities and backgrounds to discover Madaba in a truly memorable way.
